On Feb 18th Smart Energy has officially opened the first CNG station on mainland Singapore at 1 Mandai Link.

With 20 filling hoses and a capacity of more than 200 taxis per hour Singapore has now one of the finest CNG stations. Busses as well as CNG trailers can be filled on this multipurpose CNG station

Plant Schemes

With Safe products, it is possible to build different types of stations (as illustrated in the enclosures here under), this allows customers a wider choice according to specifics.

A plant of compression and distribution of CNG can vary according to different parameters, main parameters are:

  • Availability of natural gas from the pipeline or from cylinder track
  • Pipeline pressure
  • Avarage daily/ demand of natural gas
  • Peaks of demand durino the day of natural gas (cng)
  • Available electrical power
  • Capacity/hour of cng available from the pipeline

The choice of the better scheme of station must consider all the variables above in order to obtain the best performances with minimum investments and summarizing it is necessary to obtain:

  • The maximum speed of automotive refuelling
  • The minimum engagement of electric power and the minimum energy consumption for the compression
  • The bigger reliability with minimum risks of station stopped for maintenance
  • The minimum encumbrance for installation of a plant in a refuelling stations with multiple fuels.
  • The plant modularity which allows to accompany the development of the station CNG demand
