On Feb 18th Smart Energy has officially opened the first CNG station on mainland Singapore at 1 Mandai Link.

With 20 filling hoses and a capacity of more than 200 taxis per hour Singapore has now one of the finest CNG stations. Busses as well as CNG trailers can be filled on this multipurpose CNG station

Compressors

CompressorThe main element of the plant is the compressor, its job is to increase the pressure of the gas, utilising the power or of one electrical motor or one natural gas engine. The quality of Safe compressors for natural gas is the result of years of research and developments, and thus Safe can be considered the leader in this field.

Safe manufactures different compressor’s models. The Safe compressors are specifically designed for the compression of the natural gas for automotive purposes (CNG).

The Safe compressors can be used either with pipeline or with cylinder’s track (daughter stations).

In the following table, you can see the main models as well as the technical characteristics. For each compressors is reported the inlet pressure, the maximum outlet pressure, the flow and the installed power.
